Congratulations to our Women in Leadership Scholarship Program Recipients 2025!
We are thrilled to announce that the Advancing Women in Healthcare Leadership (AWHL) national initiative, in collaboration with the Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation (MCHRI), has awarded five scholarships to outstanding women working with and/or from underserved communities. This includes priority populations captured by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, culturally and linguistically diverse people, people with a disability, and people living in regional and remote areas.
These scholarships provide recipients with the incredible opportunity to attend the prestigious the Monash University Women in Leadership Program at a significantly reduced rate. The scholarship covers approximately 70% of the program's cost.
“We are committed to empowering women in healthcare by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to excel in leadership roles. Our program fosters a supportive environment that enables women to harness their strengths and make a lasting impact in their communities” Professor Helena Teede, Director, MCHRI
We thank all applicants and extend our congratulations to the scholarship recipients. We look forward to welcoming you to the program!
