Active involvement and engagement with multiple key stakeholders is vital for creating the systemic change we need to improve equity and diversity and advance women in healthcare leadership. A member organisations community of practice has been established to explore areas for collective action, and we look forward to establishing health service and implementation communities of practice in 2023.

Updates and discussions with our lead partners have continued, including with partners’ executive teams, Boards, councils, and equity and diversity committees/working groups.

More broadly, with partners we have presented our work at the AMA National Conference,
RACMA Conference 2022, Epworth Research Month, Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) Congress, SAGE conference on Diversity Interventions, Annual International Conference on Women's Leadership, Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, University of Glasgow and University of Warwick. We were delighted to share our work to date with Prof Graeme Currie and Prof Amy Grove from the University of Warwick when they were in Melbourne. It was encouraging to receive their enthusiasm for our collective work, alongside valuable insight and feedback.

Finally, we are proud to share that our
second publication in the Lancet's eClinical Medicine was included in the journal’s recent "Renewed call for action: Collection on gender inequality" . You can also hear AWHL Chief Investigator Prof Helena Teede and PhD candidate Mariam Mousa being interviewed in the Lancet's eClinical Medicine podcast.
